Harold Budd was always an influence to my calmer ambient pieces as well as piano work. His piano sound stuck out to me, and was always unmistakable, from solo work to collaborative work, including some of my favorites with Brian Eno and Robin Guthrie.
When I heard he had passed I wanted to sit down and improve some pieces in memory of him, these are those pieces. One take, six keyboards and synths, some effects processors, and a few mixers over a two night period to create this album.
